Stronger Training, Safer Outcomes: AWHONN 2025 Recap

The energy in Orlando was electric as more than 3,000 women’s health, obstetric, and neonatal nurses gathered for the 2025 Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) National Conference. The passion, collaboration, and commitment to improving maternal outcomes were palpable—and Elevate Healthcare was proud to be part of it all.
Spotlight on Innovation and Impact
One of the centerpieces of our booth was the Achieve Program, a comprehensive offering designed to help clinical teams assess outcomes, build targeted simulation strategies, and identify funding opportunities to support training initiatives. Attendees shared a clear need for support in these areas—and we’re here to help make it happen.
We also brought live, hands-on simulations to the floor, demonstrating critical OB scenarios including vaginal delivery, shoulder dystocia, breech birth, and newborn resuscitation using our Lucina and Luna simulators. These interactive sessions sparked thoughtful conversations around training gaps and the value of realistic practice.

Building Community Through Education
Beyond the booth, we were honored to sponsor two key events: the Obstetric Patient Safety Workshop and the Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring Instructor Reception. These gatherings brought together clinical educators and certified instructors from across the country, all committed to raising the standard of maternal and neonatal care.
We even had a surprise guest—Nurse Blake, a widely known nurse advocate and comedian—who joined us at the booth to participate in a neonatal resuscitation demo using our Luna simulator. It was a fun and memorable moment that drew a crowd and sparked even more great conversations about simulation and training.
Moving Forward, Together
What stood out the most? The conversations. The openness. The shared urgency to find solutions that make a real difference. Many attendees told us they’re actively looking for ways to elevate their training—and for partners they can trust to help lead the way.
We’re ready. Whether it’s building custom simulation programs, navigating funding options, or supporting clinical improvement goals—we’re here to help healthcare teams move forward with purpose.
Let’s elevate maternal care—together.
